Trustees Cannot Have The Right To Prohibit | Aakhir Kyon Eng ( Translated From Hindi ) Ep-4

Question : According to Pandit Maharaj Ji, if the Trustees forbid a Mahatma from coming to an Upashray, then legally, they are offenders. But how is this possible? Because in terms of law, trustees have all the rights!
Gachchadhipati Pujya Pandit Maharaja

Even as per the law, the trustees of the shrine only mean that they are a group of shravaks (devotees) who have been made responsible for managing the shrine according to the rules and regulations.

Under any circumstances, it cannot be the Trustees Management prerogative, to negate the purpose for which the religious place was built.

When the shrine is built for worship by the Tapagachchiya Shri Sangh, then how can any trustee forbid any Tapagachchiya Sanyamis (sadhus/ascetics) from dwelling there ? They have the right only to manage according to the rules, not to change the objectives. And if a trustee tampers with the original objectives of the shrine, then the constitution of the trust is violated by their hands. That is why legally such an act becomes an offence.
