Outstanding Perspicacity & Extraordinary between the line’s interpretation from Shastras & Agamas, Jainacharya Yugbhushansuriji has proficiency in unveiling the mystic secrets, the hidden truths lying deep in the Shastras!! Ever since he was Young, he was approached by a lot of Acharyas & other sadhus to help them interpret & understand shlokas from Agam Granthas with the due consent of his Guru, Acharya Shrimadvijay Ramchandrasuriji Maharaja.

With his unparallel ‘Marganusari Kshyopasham’ and colossal knowledge of the scriptures & current affairs & beyond…  H.H has impromptu answers & solutions to almost any question not just pertaining to Shastras but in any other field in a way that abides by the commandments of Tirthankaras.

          H.H. is a rare & unique combination of: Knowledge + Logic + Inner Experience!  (જ્ઞાન + તર્ક + અનુભવ)

Born as Naveen Khimji Mota, on October 26,1957, at Kolkata, Naveen was an avid reader with exceptional grasping Power. Although, Naveen excelled at school, he distinctly found academics way beneath his abilities & standards. Naveen, the youngest & loving to all his siblings grew up learning scriptures. At the tender age of 9, he was stalwart at enormous fundamental scriptures Such as Panch Pratikraman, Jiv vichar, Nav tattva. A year later he completed Updhan to experience the life of saints.

At the age of 14, while studying Devchandraji Chovisi, he felt withdrawn from materialistic world his passion towards spirituality inspired him to take a step further. He then decided to give up education that had a narrow outlook & chose to study the Jain philosophy in depth.  Assenting Naveen’s aspirations, his parents motivated him to study under the able mentorship of Acharya Shrimadvijay RamchandraSuriji Maharaja.  In his early days as a Mumukshu, he finished studying Sanskrit, 4 Prakran Granthas, 6 Karma Granthas, Upmiti Bhavprapanch, Nyay Muktavali, Kamma Paidi etc. in a very short span.

Looking at Naveen’s inquisitiveness & astounding ability to conceive & analyze the deep perplexing subject- matters with ease, Acharya Shrimadvijay Ramchandrasuriji Maharaja encouraged him for studying various other philosophies as well.

And a 16-year-old Naveen, set out on a journey of quest for knowledge. He travelled far & wide to Anantpur (Andhra Pradesh) all alone. In spite of facing a lot of adversities (with regards to food & shelter) he gained profound knowledge in Nyay Granthas & Jyotish Shastras from the renowned learned Pandit of Kashi, Shri Narayanacharyaji. He not only did a comprehensive study of the 6 Darshan Shastras (Sankhya, Baudha, Vaisheshik, Nayayik, Jain, Charvak) but also did a comparative Study of Sematic religions like Christianity & Islam! Being a seeker of true knowledge, Naveen always laid more emphasis on attainment of Samyag Gyan rather than a degree or certificate. This approach of his was reflected evidently when he chose to study privately through rigorous lessons for 10 hours a day in Sanskrit, accomplishing the course in just 1.5 years which otherwise is a degree course of 11 years in Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

His quest for knowledge continued… After Anantpur, Naveen travelled to Jamnagar to study Sanskrit & Prakrut Vyakaran Granthas (Grammar) like Laghu nyas, Bruhad nyas, Lagu vrutti, etc. from other learned Pandits. Although, Vyakaran is one of the most laborious subjects where one Shlok has an explanation of many long pages… it was just a cakewalk for Naveen who finished learning the same in just a span of 8 months. While at Jamnagar, in his free time, Naveen used to browse through Jamnagar’s Ancient library & learnt Tantra Shastra, Indian Astrology etc. on the fly…

At the age of 17, Naveen used to give lessons on various Yog & Adhyatma  Granthas, Nyay Granthas, etc. to various sadhu-sadhvis and even Acharyas and Gachadhipati’s  without being biased towards any Samuday or Gach – Because he worshiped knowledge & strongly believed that endowment of true knowledge (Samyag Gyan) is the sole remedy for upliftment of soul from this Bhav Sansar! Liberation from the vicious cycle of life & death! And that’s how he became famous by the name ‘Pandit Maharaj’.

He was the trusted messenger of his Guru, Acharya Shrimadvijay Ramchandrasuriji Maharaja, for negotiating critical matters relating to Tirth Raksha & Shashan Raksha with other Acharyas.

Post completion of comparative study of various religions & philosophies with a rational approach i.e. without being biased towards Jainism, Naveen was way past convinced that the path to self-development of inner soul & the route to self-realization solely lies in devoting his future to the path of Tirthankaras. Thus, on the holy day of April 29, 1979, Mahendra (elder brother) & Naveen got initiated as Muni Shri Mohjitvijayji & Muni Shri Yugbhushanvijayji respectively, at Pindwada – Rajasthan, as the disciple of Acharya Shrimadvijay Ramachnadrasuruiji Maharaja.

In the early years of sainthood Muni Shri Yugbhushanvijayji did an in-depth study of scriptures like Yog-Adhyatma Granthas, Karma Sahitya, etc. Not just Dharma Shastras, he also did a comprehensive study of Neeti Shastra, Artha Shastra, Ayurveda, Shilpa Shastra, Chanakya Neeti, Khagol Shastra, Indian Astrology, Cosmology, etc. And not just ancient scriptures, he was also ruminated and contemplated subjects of Modern astronomy, Modern Physics & it’s complex theories like Keppler’s theory, Newton’s theory, Gravity, Einstein’s General & Special Theory of Relativity, Chemistry, Biology, Bio-Technology, National & International Politics, World-Economics, Indian & Western History, Social Science, Environmental Science, etc. Just to name a few.

Identifying the phenomenal capabilities, his guru Acharya Shrimadvijay Ramachandrasuriji Maharaja inspired him to interpret & simplify various scriptures written by H.H. Acharya Shri Haribhadrasuriji & H.H. Mahopaddyay Shri Yashovijayaji Maharaj and present it for the benefit of society. Thus on October 11, 1992, Gitarth Ganga – A Jain Research Institute was established in Ahmedabad under the guidance of Muni Shri Mohjitvijayji and Muni Shri Yugbhushanvijayji Maharaj.

On Jan 31, 1996, Muni Shri Yugbhushanvijayji was bestowed with ‘Gani’ at Gowalia tank, Mumbai. As responsibilities increased with the post, Gani Shri Yugbhushanvijayji studied deep in law & order, current affairs, the Constitution of India & provided a pragmatic way for protection of various Jain Tirths such as Kesariyaji, Shikharaji, Shatrunjay, Girnarji, Antrikshji, etc. Tirth Raksha Abhiyan, Shatrunjay Aadinath Mahima Mahotsav, Save Shikharji, etc. are a few events and movements carried out under his guidance that have helped create a wave of awareness amongst millions with regards to protection of our precious ancient Jain Tirths! He has also played a significant role in getting minority status to Jain religion.

On the Holy day of April 23, 2008, Gani Shri Yugbhushanvijayji was instituted to Acharya pad at Devlali by Acharya Shri Punyanandsuriji Maharaja.

In his 40 years of sainthood life, Acharya Shri Yugbhushansuriji has been a mentor and guide for lots of Chhari Palit Sanghs, 99 Yatras, Updhans, Sangh Jinalayas (Jain temple), Gruha Jinalayas including Anjanshalaka and Pratishtha Mahotsavs, an eminent one being that of Manilaxmi Tirth near Vadodara, Gujarat. He has had numerous meeting with top-most lawyers, Chief Justices, Supreme Court’s retired judge, High Court Judges, State Heads & even with Shri Narendra Modi regarding Tirth Raksha, Dharma Raksha and had discussion on various global issues including that of tourism & environment. He has also addressed a council of doctors & scientists of different field on modern science & existence of soul. Today, with new responsibilities, he is providing legal and scriptural guidance in various litigation on major Tirths.

H.H. has changed lives of hundreds of youths through his eye-opening seminars with mind-boggling logics on personality development, Khoj – In search of truth, Khoj – In search of happiness, Indian social science through Mahabharat, Cosmic Order, etc.

Logically convinced and inspired by the heart touching sermons of H.H. lots of young CA’s, Engineers, IITians, Fashion Designers and educated people from various professions and fields have renounced their lives, given up on ephemeral worldly pleasures and have set out on the path of Lord Mahavir – the path that leads to true, absolute happiness, under the aegis of H.H Acharya Shri Yugbhushansuriji. Today, he has been spearheading an entire Samuday of more than 78 sadhu – sadhvis, guiding them to their ultimate designation i.e. Moksh! Absolute liberation! Named after his elder brother, his Samuday is called – THE MOHJITVIJAYJI SAMUDAY!
