Dharmalaabh, May God bless you with spirituality,

With infinite kindness and blessings of God, we are safe and in good health. With His blessings, hope
this finds you too, safe and healthy.

You will agree, that our world has been navigating through the COVID induced dark uncertainties for
more than a year now. The Corona Virus is mutating and spreading at a rapid speed. It is almost certain
that the world will have to prepare for a long encounter with COVID and its consequences. The
hurriedly developed vaccines have been some form of saviours to mankind. However, these are
characterised by low efficacy, inadequate testing data, post jab complications and no guarantee to be
combative against future mutations. It is not certain that this COVID-19 Virus will affect only part of
humanity and the loss will be limited. Its inherent nature is such that it has capability to mutate into
multiple versions which may ultimately risk the entire humanity. We all, do acknowledge that, this
current global scenario has taught some tough lessons to humanity.

Historically with the advent of destructive technologies, countries have started developing weapons
of mass destruction like Nuclear weapons, Chemical weapons, etc. As and when the world became
aware and realised that use of such weapons will lead to existential threat to humanity, global leaders
raised their voices and stood in unanimity to ban/restrict such weapons. In earlier days of development
of all mass destructive weapons, the category of Chemical weapons was the easiest to develop, store and use. Having realised this, the world leaders on a global platform resolved to enforce strict
prohibition and robust verification processes for Chemical weapons development, to save humanity.
But, today a new category of mass destructive weapons is threatening the existence of the entire
humanity – the Biological weapons.

Characteristically, like the Chemical weapons, now a days Biological weapons too, are not difficult to
create, store and use. We ought to acknowledge that COVID-19 pandemic has given us all a very
important and tough life lesson i.e. the entire humanity will be continuously under the threat of
recurring pandemics, unless and until the global leaders both spiritual and temporal unite and act
unanimously to strictly prohibit all forms of Biological weapons and all acts connecting thereto.

In the interest of saving humanity, I call upon the global leaders, to ponder on this and work for a
united and unanimous front at the United Nations, to strictly prohibit Biological weapons of all forms
and all acts connecting thereto. The current and future generations will be grateful to all of us for
helping humanity to come out of this catastrophe.

The current pandemic has given another strong lesson to all countries i.e. the current globalisation in
the form of trade, capital, services, human resources, supply chains, travel, etc are not eternally
unhindered and flawless. Global leaders have begun to realise that banking on such a structure of
globalisation for critical and strategic development is risky and outdated. It would be sheer madness
and detrimental to promote the current form of globalisation in anticipation of development, by
role-modelling Asian Tigers and aspiring to be One.

Today after a span of 70 years of current globalisation, it is evident that this type of globalisation is not
in the interest of every country. In the name of development, the current globalisation has exploited
many countries. The wisdom which arises out of this situation is, the idea that Atmanirbharta
(self-reliance) is the key option for a nation’s strategic development. Surely, while implementing this,
one should be cautious that aggressive nationalism does not creep in, otherwise this would sow seeds
of discord among the nations. It is note-worthy that the very concept of globalisation, is not bad.
Global co-operation to address common issues concerning the entire humanity can only be solved by
adequate and purpose-oriented globalisation.

Our world in the pre COVID-19 era was continuously tarnished by either trade wars, currency wars,
cold wars, cyber-attacks, regional wars, proxy wars, etc. Today, when the entire humanity is passing
through its bleak moments, I hope and pray that the world leaders observe maximum restraint and
work unitedly to wage a powerful response against common enemies of the entire humanity.

In these challenging times, the most effective pearl of wisdom which may help to achieve the required
global unity and co-operation is, the idea of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”- which means “The world is
one family”. In today’s context, this wisdom emanating from Indian religions has the potential to be the
key for future course of fair, just and equitable World Order. India is herself committed to this idea and
has walked that path with the recent “Vaccine Maitri” programme. With the values of Vasudhaiva
Kutumbakam, all global leaders must collectively work to devolve a sustainable world to future
generations. I am fully convinced that this ability of ours’ today, will earn laurels from the future
generations. I pray to God and hope that this wisdom prevails worldwide as a global mantra, to save
humanity.

May every soul be uplifted, may every soul live innocently and allow others to live innocently, too.
