The Pedhi says that it has been deeply connected with various aspects of Jain Sangh and seen various ups and downs in the last 300 years of its existence.
Amidst the political tensions and ups and downs it has done various tirth raksha works in past and will continue to do so in future too.
The Pedhi is basking in the glory of work done in the last 300 years timeline but during the same period we have lost or are on the verge of losing the important prime rights of Sangh and the heritage passed down by Prabhu Veer over Shatrunjay, Girnar , Shikharji and various other Tirths.
During the time of AKT as representative body we have witnessed destruction of our tirths, we have,
- Lost Nirvan kalyanak tunk on Girnarji.
- Lost ownership and sovereignty of Shatrunjay hills.
- Lost ownership of Kesariyaji Tirth.
- Seeing Ashatana of Palitana Tirth.
- Pious Ranakpur Tirth has turned into a tourist spot.
- A helipad and military barracks got constructed at Shikharji Tirth.
The Pedhi has all the legal documents of these truths, they may have been kept in the dark from the public yet some of it is available partly.
Yet all that the Pedhi seems to be doing now is basking in the past glory!!
This brings immense disappointment and is surprising for all!!
Jagatguru Hirsurishwarji Maharajsaheb ensured the sovereignty of Tirths were intact even during reign of the muslim Emperor Akbar then why is Anandji Kalyanji Pedhi failing to do so today?
What is the history?
How did we lose our religious sovereignty?
Why are we losing rights to our tirths, why are our tirths being promoted by the government as tourist spots which is leading to destruction of their sanctity and piousness?
