|Description: ‘JYOT’ exhibition to throw further light on this|
|Bengaluru,Karnataka, 01/01/2013: To negotiate the turbulent times, the GenNext has to look at all options, including sourcing from religious scriptures which are relevant to modern times. Focusing on the expansive, informative and solution-oriented knowledge base of the ancient scriptures and after great success in Mumbai and Ahemedabad the knowledge oriented exhibition titled ‘Jyot’ is now coming to silicon valley. This massive event is being organized from February 8 to 14, 2013, at the Palace Grounds, Bangalore.
The exhibition is expected to be a journey on the ‘untrodden path’ of knowledge in ancient religious scriptures which are as modern, scientific and logical as any present day philosophy. ‘Jyot’ will have monumental sets,Photogallery, art gallery, 3-d models, films, light and sound shows, audio visual presentations etc, opening up the visitors mind to the rich and resourceful knowledge-base. The exhibition ‘knowledge beyond our knowledge’ aims at sowing the seeds of knowledge, cutting across barriers of age, religion and intellect. About five lakh visitors are expected to attend the enriching experience.
Explaining the need for such an effort, Mr. SumanPirgal, a core committee member, said, “The world is passing through turbulent times. Before an old problem is solved, a hundred others pop up. While we look for answers everywhere, the real and lasting solution to all our problems lie in religious scriptures, which might be written centuries ago but are still modern and contemporary.”
|Mr. Mohan Bohra, senior member of Team Jyotsaid , “Today’s youth is engaged in self-exploration and is searching for inner peace. They question the relevance of rituals and religious practices. For them, the methods of expressing religion need to be altered to suit the context of modern times; otherwise GenNext might lose faith in the essence of all religions. ‘Jyot’ is one such effort in that direction.”|
|At ‘Jyot’ exhibit, visitors will get a visual treat of knowledge coupled with insights for practical implementation of this knowledge in today’s world, as right knowledge serves both, spiritual & social upliftment! “The project is a unique opportunity, a chance of a lifetime to bring about a definitive change in oneself and in the process transform and impact the lives of millions of people around!”
